Albanian HR Solutions is a company providing services in Executive Search, General Search & Recruitment, Career Management and Consulting based in Tirana (AL).

The company is a joint group of experts in the Human Resources area.

On behalf of our client, one of the largest International IT Support Services Company, we are looking for a potential candidate for the position of 2nd Line Desktop Support Professional.

General Summary: 2nd Line Desktop Support Professional provide both remote and desk-side support in extremely busy and vibrant client environments in and around Tirana.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide 2nd line remote and desk side support services to end users and VIP’s
- Maintain Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) in pressurized environments by managing ticket queues and workflows
- Configuration, Troubleshooting and Maintenance of Desktop operating systems and associated applications
- Provide technical expertise and assistance on project assignments

Experiences & Qualifications

- Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering; Information Technology
- 3-5 years’ experience in 1st and 2nd Line Support
- Experience of working in an environment which has adopted the standard ITIL methodologies – Incident, Problem, Change Management etc
- Microsoft MCITP certification to Windows 7 – either achieved or working towards
- Creation of technical support documentation
- Knowledge of Reuters, Bloomberg and other market data feeds
- ITIL v3 Foundation level certification
- Exposure to Infrastructure technologies – Server, Networks etc

Skills

- Excellent all round knowledge of Windows Desktop Operating Systems, up to and including Windows 7
- Experience in using and supporting Apple Mac Hardware and Software - OS knowledge to Mountain Lion version would be preferred
- Previous support of handheld mobile devices e.g. Tablets, Blackberry, iPhone
- Working knowledge of current and legacy hardware platforms
- Strong background in supporting full Microsoft Office suite, up to and including 2010.
- Good Knowledge of TCP/IP and Network configuration at a Desktop OS level
- Experienced in navigating Active Directory and Exchange for trouble-shooting, configuration and administration purposes
- Must have previous experience in a Service Desk environment, supporting users remotely and managing through an Incident Management tool
- Capable of supporting Desktop/Laptop hardware if necessary with a good understanding of all typical components
- Individual must have good customer facing skills and be well presented.
- Demonstrates independent and pro-active thinking
- Highly organized with the ability to adapt to different working environment seamlessly
- Must be able to work to specified standards and required levels of deportment, conduct, and sound ethical workplace practices.
- Must be able to work alone and unsupervised, taking the initiative when necessary
