CCBS is looking for a potential candidate to fill the vacancy for:
Logistic & Transport Manager
He will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the storage procedure, from the complicated storage logistics, managing the warehouse workers, scheduling shifts and ensuring staff are adequately trained.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes.
• Monitoring the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods.
• Coordinating and controlling the order cycle and associated information systems.
• Recommend purchase of new or improved technology, such as automated systems.
• Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency.
• Plan or implement material flow management systems to meet production requirements.
• Makes sure that health and safety procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as; customer sales, order management, accounting, production.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering
• Min 3 years of experience in similar positions
• Experience in stock control and in some roles, customs liaison
• Strong management skills, able to efficiently organize a team on various shifts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office would be beneficial
• Very good knowledge of Italian and/or English
