HSE OFFICER
Our Client is an international group, providing top notch services and equipment to oil and gas operations with large-sized projects. Currently they are looking for a senior HSE Officer to lead and improve their crew in Albania.
Job Role:
The HSE officer will support the company’s objective to develop health and safety strategy, policies and objectives according to ISO standards (Environmental), (Health and Safety). Will work proactively with all employees to establish and maintain safe systems of work, to minimize operational losses, occupational health problems, accidents, injuries.
Responsibilities:
Implement health, safety, security and environmental policies and support team with training programs within company’s procedures
Ensure site safety and training requirements, emergency response activities and safety compliance audits
Plan safe working practices and make necessary changes
Liaise with relevant authorities
Make regular site inspections; inspects all sites activities works, tools and equipment, verifies that it is done according the safety regulations
Facilitates training for workers on issues related to HSE
Investigates all safety complaints and identifies potential accident risks and makes appropriate recommendations to prevent of such accidents
Promotes good health, safety and environmental practices throughout all activities
Designs, develops and monitors effective Risk Assessment management strategies and makes recommendations on the implementation of these strategies
Ensures the workforce has been working in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Requirements:
University Diploma in mining/ civil construction/ environmental/ engineering or related areas; advanced studies/trainings in Health, Safety and environment and Risk Management are preferred
3+ year’s health and safety compliance experience required/ preferably in Oil and Gas industry
Fluent in English language
Very good Computer Skills
Very good reporting and technical writing skills
Very good verbal communication skills, presentation skills, organizational and scheduling abilities
Excellent training abilities
Driving license
