LEAD AUDITOR
Our client is an international banking group, operating very successfully in Albania, willing to cope with increased demand for internal audit services through the hiring of an experienced auditor in the position of LEAD AUDITOR.
JOB ROLE:
As a Lead auditor you will play a key role in Corporate Audit by efficiently and effectively: planning, overseeing, delivering and reporting on a program of often complex audits of key activities within the company and its branches, harnessing a deep understanding of business strategy, controls and risks to provide reliable and independent assurance on the design and effectiveness of the control framework.
Responsibilities:
Ensure audit work is in compliance with international professional standards and company’s policies and procedures
Proactive execution of complex, varied, concurrent audits delivered to tight deadlines, using professional judgment to set the scope and testing approach to ensure key risks are addressed, audit findings are value adding, solutions are pragmatic, and lead to control/process improvements
Maximize value for money for the group through transfer of knowledge to Audit team members and ensure proper communication with senior management and Audit Committee
Review the audit team members’ work on a daily basis in order to ensure the required quality, accuracy and objectivity; provide feedback, technical guidance and tutorials when necessary
Assist the Head of Internal Audit in the execution of his/her functions
Identify, assess and report risks, propose actions and monitor the implementation of agreed actions
Independently produce high quality reports that can be issued with minimal changes and reviews from Head of Internal Audit to Audit Committee / BoD
Requirements:
University degree in Finance or Economics; ACCA/CIA, or other international qualifications are considered a plus
+3 years auditing experience, preferably in risk based internal audit with international companies/ financial institutions / BIG4
Fluent in English
Very Good Computer Literacy
Strong analytical skills
Excellent and proven leadership, managerial and interpersonal skills; team worker
Focused on continued improvement and achieving high standards
