Albanian HR Solutions is a company providing services in Executive Search, Headhunting, General Search & Recruitment, Career Management and Consulting based in Tirana (AL).
The company is a joint group of experts in the Human Resources area.
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a potential candidate for the position of: Business Development Manager

Summary

The role is a key strategic management position and has overall accountability for the smooth day-to-day running of operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the overall development, design, implementation and execution of operations and performs some of the following tasks:
- Responsible for daily Operations, overall Profitability and Commercial activities;
- Manages a team of Senior Managers and applies proper leadership tools and methods;
- Develops regulations, policies, procedures and programmers applicable to the business function and acts as a liaison with other agencies and organizations assisting or regulating business activities;
- Develops and manages all operations and work practices that maximize operational efficiency;
- Evaluates current and potential processing methods, giving advice on current best practices;
- Reviews results of all cost related studies, reports, etc., and makes recommendations for improvements;
- Monitors and analyses key business performance indicators for processing operations and recommends corrective actions to the operations team;
- Improves business operating performance; reduces waste and delays; promotes costs reductions; achieves a high level of operating efficiency;
- Introduces and implements cost and energy saving systems and measures;
- Maintains a safe and efficient working environment;
- Interprets and reports rate change impact on inventories;
- Other management duties as necessary and as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

- University Degree – preferred in Business Management, a Master’s degree (e.g. MBA) would be highly desirable;
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with 6 – 8 years in a management position or a senior leadership role;
- Strong business acumen of management. Minimum 5 years of people management / functional leadership responsibility;
- Sound experience in project management and budgeting, cost control, problem solving effective reporting methods;
- Strong analytic skills, stress resistant;
- Self motivator, capable of leading and motivating people;
- Good communicator, both oral and written;
- Language skills: Proficient in Albanian and very good command of the English language (written and spoken). Knowledge of any other language would be an asset;
