HEAD OF IT
We are currently looking on behalf of our client, an international group operating successfully in Albania from many years, for an experienced and talented Head of IT.
The role: As an experienced Head of IT you will be responsible for leading the day to day IT Operations across the organization, ensuring continuity of IT support, application availability and managing the department.
This role combines technology vision and leadership, ensuring effective use of IT capability and resources.
The Head of IT reports directly to CEO.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of IT Operations and Service Delivery
Develop and own the delivery of a technology strategy and plan to support The Company’s business objectives
Provide leadership to the business on the development of its information systems, both responding to and influencing business strategy based on what can be realistically achieved
Maintain a high-level of awareness of technology innovation and best practice on company’s applications
Manage an in-house IT team capable of delivering the IT Plan and providing high quality day to day support to the business; ensure systems use and support meets the needs of the business
Project management of key IT Projects.
Requirements:
University Diploma in Computer Science or related areas
5+ years of experience in relevant position, demonstrated ability to lead and work in a large, cross-functional Company
Very Good English skills
Demonstrated experience of managing a top-class IT department ensuring excellent service delivery, availability of systems and team management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to think and plan strategically, but act pragmatically
