We are seeking to recruit: An experienced and very dynamic employee, in the position of Officer Business Work out Department

Job purpose: To improve the quality of the Businesses loans portfolio by reducing the delinquency ratios through implementing the best bank practices.

Direct Reports to: Head of CIB/SME/SBE Collection and Work out Sector

Main Responsibilities:



Handles NPL portfolio proposed for the initiation of the legal actions, investigates the reasons of the problems and studies ways of solving them; For the bad and doubtful credits (business loans more than 180 days overdue, or loans classified as “D” and”L”), the Business Work Out Department undertakes under its full responsibility the process of registration of the files in Work Out and Foreclosure Sector and follow up of the customers.




Monitors the loan portfolio under management on daily/monthly basis by preparing reports such as monthly report regarding the account payments by the customers, Work out sector & Legal database regarding the customers etc, weekly reports regarding customer’s contacts.




Prepares other reports regarding lending activity as required by executive management of the Bank.


The ideal Candidates should have:

· Preparing a review and analyze of the case according to the negotiation with the customer and / or according to the collected information & documentation from the customer and /or steps of the legal procedure and / or as per regulation and procedures in force.
· Nevertheless the status of the legal procedures the Work Out Department has to maintain a communication with the customer on weekly/ monthly basis in order to communicate the level of the debts, the statute of the loan in the bailiff office and other expectation of the bank.
· In collaboration with the litigation sector the work out department officer is responsible, will give to the bailiff offices all the necessary information regarding the customer problematic, addresses, contact information etc.
· In the moment the Bailiff Office Procedure will start he/she will be responsible of documenting each practice send by the bailiff office and responding to those communications that needs written responses.
· The Work Out through implementing the policy of Bank for the review should be careful in protecting the bank interest in his proposal to be presented in the Sensitive Affairs Committee and or in Credit Committee.
· Plans the best possible restructuring of problematic loans while ensuring alignment with corporate banking strategy.
· Reporting of the portfolio:
· Business Work out Department monitor the overdue portfolio under its responsibility on daily/monthly basis and prepares and submit to the Head of the Sector the following reports:
· Overdue loans contact on daily basis.
· Reports to the credit units in case of improvement of the Non-Performing loans by payments.
· Credit Risk Indicators Reports on monthly base.
· Recovery & Legal report on daily basis.
· Other reports regarding its portfolio activity as required by Bank of Albania, Credit Agricole France and the Executive Management of the Bank.

Criteria to be fulfilled:



University degree, in Economic or similar.
At least 2 -3 years of experience in banking sector, preferably in Corporate sector and/or Workout Sectors (Recovery).
Very good of written and spoken English.
Ability to work in team and under pressure.
Practical and analytical skills.
Very good communication and negotiation skills.
