Developing the Policy Framework for Improved Maternal Child Health (MCH) /Perinatal Referral
Abt Associates Inc. (Abt) invites organizations to submit grant applications for Developing the Policy Framework for Improved Maternal Child Health (MCH) /Perinatal Referral as part of a United States Agency for International Development (USAID) funded Enabling Equitable Health Reforms (EEHR) project.
Abt Associates Inc. is seeking to provide a grant to an organization to fund the development of the Policy Framework for Improved MCH/Perinatal Referral to enable the Ministry of Health (MOH) to take an informed decision to improve the perinatal care policy framework and referral model. The Policy Framework will help the MOH, district, regional and national level hospitals analyze their readiness to refer appropriately and timely cases requiring referral, assess the current status and needs of human resources, determine issues with emergency/referral transportation, and make strategic decisions regarding upgrading capabilities for sustainable perinatal care service delivery in the regions and at the central level, as described in the Statement of Work in this Request for Application (RFA).
The following types of Albanian entities are eligible for grants:
1. Professional associations,
2. Institutions of higher education,
3. Hospitals,
4. Nonprofit non-governmental organizations, and
5. Commercial organizations.
Applications should be submitted in accordance with the instructions set forth in the RFA.
Applicants will not be reimbursed for any costs incurred in connection with the preparation and submission of their applications.
Application Deadlines
Questions must be submitted in writing or by email to the address below no later than April 12, 2013 by 17:00 Tirana time. Verbal requests will not be accepted or responded to. Answers to all questions will be disseminated in writing to all potential Applicants.
Interested and qualified organizations should submit their sealed applications in envelopes one original and electronic copy each of the technical and cost proposals no later than April 30, 2013 17:00 Tirana time to the following address:
