We are seeking to recruit: Permanent Control Specialist
Job purpose: To support the implementation of Permanent Control and Operational Risk framework across a broad spectrum of business lines with a particular focus on the Banking operations aspects within the aim to manage and mitigate the potential operational risks.
Direct Reports to: Head of Operational Risk and Permanent Control Sector
Main Responsibilities:
Supports the implementation of Permanent Control framework across a broad spectrum of business lines and support areas within the bank with the aim to establish a preventive risk structure in order to allow the bank to exercise its activity in a safe and accurate manner (the permanent control function represents controls performed by all units of the bank, for the high risk operations process, which results are assesed and followed up by Risk).
Assists in the process of updating the Operational Risk Mapping and the identification of the most risky processes that require the implementation of the permanent controls;
Supports the process of designing and defining the methodology of controls of the controls to be performed in all levels;
Participates in the sector supervision of the permanent control framework of the entire Bank by gathering and controlling all the respective control results and audit trials.
Participates in the control processes initiated and exercised from the Sector
Prepares the consolidated report on the permanent control results;
Coordinates the implementation and follow-up of corrective actions designed to address anomalies detected during permanent controls;
Supports the implementation of local and group standards regarding Permanent Control.
The ideal Candidate should have:
Analytical skills and risk awareness, including prioritization and ability to make brief synthesis;
Very good communication skills;
Team work capability;
Criteria to be fulfilled:
Bachelor Degree in Economic Science. Master Degree is preferred;
Experience at least the last two years in Control areas, Operational Risk or Audit;
Languages: English – mandatory /very good / proven
French – optional / good
