Union Bank started up its activity in 2006, as part of Union Group in Albania.
Since its establishment, the bank has done significant growth in all sectors and now it has 29 branches in most important albanian cities.
Today Union Bank has about 300 employees overall Albania. The bank Management is expecially interested in creating an environment where the employee’s opinions are incouraged and evaluated.

Union Bank is seeking a System Administrator for AIX and Windows systems.
System Administrator for AIX and Windows systems
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, install, configure VMware, ESXi5, within vSphere 5 environments with VirtualCenter management, HA, vMotion.
Build, configure and deploy VMs and templates. Completed Physical-to-Virtual (P2V), Virtual- to- Virtual (V2V) and Virtual-to-Physical (V2P) migration of Windows 2003 &2008, as well as Linux.
Configure and maintain IBM SAN environments to ensure high availability and acceptable performance characteristics for VMware vSphere, IBM LPARs and SAN-backed applications.
Customize layer 2/3 networking between VMware/VIOS, networking components and storage for high availability and maximum performance.
Upgrading firmware of managed machines, devices and IBM HMC.
Responsible for Windows2k8/2k3 servers and the operating systems software and its successful integration with the hardware and applications software of the major computing systems across the organization.
Manage software life cycles.
Maintain and update documentation on the operating systems' configuration.
Monitor and manage the 24x7 operations to ensure highest stability, availability.
Required Experience and Qualifications include:
Minimum 2 years system administration/engineering experience in IBM/AIX or UNIX.
Minimum of 2 years experience working with the basics of UNIX operating systems and hardware components.
Experience with Shell scripts.
IBM virtualised storage systems, Vmware, Apache, Middleware experience are a plus.
Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies and network protocols.
Other skills:
Excellent skills and the ability to take initiative as well as work as a team player
Must have excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, flexibility, ability to plan and organize, responsiveness and creativity.
Must be self-motivated and able to set priorities and manage to deadlines.
