Description
The web designer/developer will be responsible for the conceptual and practical design, layout and coding of a website. They are involved with the technical and graphical aspects of a website - how the site works and how it looks. They can also be involved with the maintenance and update of an existing site.
Duties and Responsibilities
Convert web page design from photoshop to Joomla or Wordpress
To provide clean design work, focused, and inspiring to others.
To conceptualize and design original ideas that bring simplicity and ease of use to complex design issues.
To create responsive website designs from scratch in Photoshop based on a list of requirements in desktop and mobile phones.
To work with Design, Product, and Development teams to create beautiful websites that facilitate what users want to do, and delight them along the way.
To know the web inside and out.
Qualifications
Photoshop mastery for Web Design.
Translate requirements into concepts and elegant user experience design.
Collaborate with other designers where overlap between product areas and features naturally occur.
Photoshop to CMS design conversion.
Good Knowledge and experience with Joomla CMS/Wordpress
Solid knowledge of XHTML/CSS (must)
Basics of PHP language (a plus)
To be passionate about Design.
Basics of JavaScript (MooTools framework - a plus)
Photoshop mastery for Typography, Shape Layers, Layer Effects.
Slicing Web Designs in Photoshop.
Experience in marketing and publishing materials design
