SUBJECT: RFA No. EEHR Albania 2012-01
Abt Associates Inc. (Abt) invites organizations to submit grant applications for the Formative Research with Key Stakeholders to Increase Non-State Actors’ Engagement in Health System Governance as part of a United States Agency for International Development (USAID) funded Enabling Equitable Health Reforms (EEHR) project.
Abt Associates Inc. is seeking to provide a grant to an organization to conduct formative research to inform the EEHR strategy to contribute in the creation of an informed, engaged and empowered civil society that will accelerate health reform efforts. The findings will be used to develop citizen participation, health system accountability and transparency mechanisms, strengthen citizens’ ability to advocate for and monitor progress toward reforms, and select the most appropriate communication channels to achieve these goals, as described in the Statement of Work in this Request for application (RFA).
Prospective Applicants can express interest and request the Request for Application (RFA) by email to the address below.
The following types of Albanian entities in will be eligible for grants:
1. Professional associations,
2. Institutions of higher education,
3. Hospitals,
4. Nonprofit non-governmental organizations, and
5. Commercial organizations.
Applications should be submitted in accordance with the instructions set forth in this RFA.
Applicants will not be reimbursed for any costs incurred in connection with the preparation and submission of their applications.
Application Deadlines
Questions must be submitted in writing or by email to the address below no later than October 08, 2012 by 17:00 Tirana time. Verbal requests will not be accepted or responded to. Answers to all questions will be disseminated in writing to all potential Applicants.
Interested and qualified organizations should present their sealed bids in separate envelopes one original bound and one unbound copy each of the technical and cost proposals no later than October 25, 2012 17:00 Tirana time to the following address:
