FIELD COLLECTION MANAGER



Our client, part of EOS Solutions Group, headquartered in Germany, with over 45 operating companies in more than 20 countries, ranked among Europe’s leading financial services providers outside the regulated bank and insurance industries, serving receivables management, payment services and business risk information, started operations in Albania early this year. We are looking for enthusiastic entrepreneurial type managers, aspiring for a dynamic career with an exciting growing company, willing to join their team in Tirana.



Role Description:
The Field Collection Manager organizes and leads all aspects of the field debt collection operations of the company, in line with the company strategy and plans. S/he secures operations run effectively and efficiently, thus leading to the budgeted bottom-line results, operational excellence and customer satisfaction. The objectives of the role are to manage the full payment of outstanding debt, gather customer information to understand a customer's financial situation and agree mutually acceptable repayment plans.

Organizational links:
Reports to Managing Director and Coordinates with Soft Collection Department. Subordinates: Field Collection Agents, Operations middle-management.

Responsibilities :


Manages the work of all field operations personnel, in a way that operations targets are achieved in full and on time
Maintains an adequate system of KPIs and monitors them on a regular basis
Reports on operations performance and results to the management
Creates and/or maintains all necessary procedures, manuals and other related internal documentation; regularly monitors and assures compliance of field operations personnel to the ethical and work standards approved
Regularly reviews the operations processes in order to identify improvement opportunities and executes them upon internal alignment
Recruits, with the support of HR, all operations personnel (e.g. collection agents, regional supervisors, team leaders, etc)
Trains, with the support of HR, new recruits and periodically re-trains current employees, in order to secure up-to-date knowledge and expertise in all skills, standards and procedures
Identifies talents amongst the operations personnel and supports their development towards roles of higher accountability with the company

Profile requirements:


Bachelor degree in one of the following fields – Business Studies, Mathematical sciences, Law
At least 7 years of work experience, of which at least 2 in a mid-or higher managerial position, ideally in the financial industry and/or related to debt collection / receivables management in banking, telecommunications, FMCG, retail, utilities etc
Good understanding or knowledge of debt management and collection techniques
People management and effective communication
Problem solving and analytical thinking with high attention to detail
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to persuade and cross check information
Mentoring and/or coaching skills
General computer literacy – MS Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer
Language skills – very good English knowledge
Displayed entrepreneurial spirit
Willingness to travel around Albania
