MERCATOR-A is looking for Book Keeping in Finance Department in its Head Office, Tirana.

Book Keeping

Responsibilities:




Records the daily accounting transactions in the accounting software based on IFRS as well as in compliance with the Albanian Accounting and Fiscal Legislation;
Prepares the accounting books as follows:

· general ledger;
· inventory ledger;
· fixed assets register;
· banks transactions;
· purchase and sales ledgers;


Participates in the preparation and calculation of off-invoice process and handles the invoicing process to suppliers;
Performs the operational reconciliation of the accounting system with the inventory management application on the level of invoices and documents;
Follows the accounts receivable and accounts payable process;
Assists in the monthly and/or annual inventory procedures being that of merchandise or cash points inventory under the supervision of the senior accountant;
Prepares periodical financial reports on a moderate level of complexity as related to the assigned duties.
Submits periodical reports to the various governmental institutions tax authorities, customs, etc.
Performs other tasks as required by management.



Personal Requirements:

Education: bachelor degree in Accounting ;
Previous experience:
- Over 2 years of previous relevant experience in Accounting sector;
- very good knowledge and understanding of Accounting Program ,as Finance 5 Program; Languages: fluent written and spoken English & Albanian language, other languages are an advantage;
Computer skills: very good knowledge of Microsoft Office package, ability in preparing reports & presentations;
Driving License: category B;

Other interpersonal skills:
- excellent listening & presentation skills;
- with high level of integrity & sense of responsibility;
- flexible, friendly, self-motivated & team-oriented.
